Moulding ideas

If talking about what too duplicated
I saw a news about North Korea today, and it inspired me, talking about people living in a certain lifestyle, with no individuality and characters, just like duplicated robot.
So that I think either duplicate some electronic device would be nice, but if the thing I duplicate relay to human/north K will be even nicer.

Funny thought

"Everything with screen light"
Just to mock about the way nowadays kids learns everything
I don't think this concept is Clear enough or making sense yet, but I think it would be funny.

Oh! Perhaps I can draw a vintage style illustration with kids playing with their toys,
However instead of playing cute dolls they are handling a cold, hard machine with screen on it.

Inspired by conceptual art

To draw a no longer functionable object
A non functionable object, people tend to throw it away, and will no longer look at it as it was a meaningful thing
To draw it in a painting, suggest a way to force people to look at it again, and perhaps may discover a new way/ new function of this "garbage"

Searching for inspiration, consumerism

For searching inspiration on creating meaningful artwork, I used to think I don't have a specific, or strong opinion on things happening in this society, but recently, I begin to have some complain about life, or our society.

As some of my friend enjoys shopping products and Jews too much, I started to think about what consumerism did to our life. Although I'm also a fan of pretty jewels, I never like the idea of consumption, to be honest I quite hate what it did to people's attitude and values towards life. All they can think about is buy buy buy, if the thing you like it, you should buy it, should own it. What kind of absurd concept is it? If you like the nature so much, do you need to buy it and own it? I truly hate the thought of owning a thing which is not necessarily need to be owned, why can't we just like it for the way it Is instead of owning not it? That is sort of a selfish and self centered thought. Seems like people have been brain washed by the materialism and consumerism.

I know it also has a positive effect to the society, but the impact is too big, I really cannot oversee what pathetic influence it did to people, especially the youth.

But, do inspiration needs to be come from complains and hatred?

Sudden though during study of minimalism

Actually I think that someone had definitely tried that before, but nvm, I'm still gonna write that down.
In consideration of side-specific and minimalism itself,
what if I made a gigantic circular canvas,
paint in a flat yellow, and hang it on the wall.
When a little bit of light(either natural light/man-made light source, I didn't think about that) hit on that canvas, would it be able to simulate the warm sun light that everybody, every living things love and need?

I would like the canvas to be with huge thickness, inspired by minimalism: this not only a painting, it's already an object.

Also, would it be too much to add a black spot to metaphor the sun? Would it also be too much too make it a donuts yellow shape?

Also, it's actually the first time that I think that place matters.
So I may think about where can I put it to make it great.

I saw an art work before with similar idea, but it was to play the different light project on a huge circle screen.

I would love to build it if it was not highly repetitive with artwork ppl saw in the art market tho.

I think this work can have a sense of balance, at the same time give a warm-heart sensation to viewers, I hope it does.

【Inspiration】

Red sky
Blue sunset

Tea Party Idea

Food Texture
